Eligibility:
Qualifying students must be South African citizens or permanent residents in South Africa or hold citizenship in a SADC country.
These students must undertake study at UP for the first time after completion of the Grade 12 examinations. Students who were registered at another educational institution prior to registration at UP, are excluded for award purposes
Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: Undergraduate achievement bursaries are awarded automatically to registered new undergraduate students who meet the bursary criteria. Students, who qualify for a new undergraduate achievement bursary and obtained more than 60% for Mathematics Paper 3, receive an additional R2 000.
