Eligibility: -An applicant should have a PhD degree in a relevant area (or a corresponding degree from a foreign country) no later than the deadline of application and maximum three years before the application deadline. -The maximum time can be extended in case of special circumstances.

Scholarship Description: The Cosmology, Particle Astrophysics and String Theory group at the Department of Physics, associated with Oskar Klein Centre is very active in both theoretical and experimental/observational research in the areas of Dark Matter and Dark Energy. 1–2 Post-doctoral positions are now available for: – Experimental Gamma-Ray Astrophysics focused on the Air Cherenkov Telescopes H.E.S.S. and the planned Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA), with the possibility to participate in Fermi-LAT data analysis or – Observations and data analysis of Type Ia supernovae at low and high redshifts for cosmological applications.
